About the opportunity
This part-time position offers 14 hours per week across Wednesday and Thursday mornings. You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast and assisting with early lunch prep for residents, while maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards. This role is ideal for a chef looking for early starts and consistent midweek hours in a meaningful setting.

Cater Care seeks to appoint an enthusiastic Breakfast chef at one of our key aged care sites in Newcastle
Responsibilities:
Preparing & presenting food for our residents
Maintaining a clean working environment
Ongoing Menu Development & Refinement
Fast, effective service - provided with a positive attitude

Previous experience in a similar role

Adherence to food & general safety practices
NSW Food Safety Certificate
