The role:
Cater Care is seeking a dedicated Chef Manager to oversee daily culinary operations at our aged care residence in Central Perth. This position is ideal for a professional who is passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience for residents while ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
On-site parking is available (paid), and the location is easily accessible via public transport.
Roster:Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

What this role involves:
Dual responsibilities in food preparation/presentation and site management
Managing overall costs, with a focus on food and labour
Stock ordering, rotation, and stocktaking
Leading, developing, and managing a team effectively
Assisting with bulk cooking operations
Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
A trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Experience managing labour, food, and operational costs
Previous experience in kitchen operations and/or site management
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A valid driver’s license and access to their own vehicle
