About the Role:
Cater Care is seeking a motivated and passionate Chef to join our team at a respected aged care residence in Gloucester, NSW, in the beautiful hinterland near the world heritage Barrington Tops.
In this rewarding role, you’ll contribute to the wellbeing of our residents by preparing nutritious and enjoyable meals in a safe, clean, and welcoming kitchen environment. It's also a great opportunity for those enjoying some weekday downtime exploring the amazing countryside right on your doorstep. Following an initial impressive performance, we are open to sponsorship for the right candidate.
Roster : Monday, Tuesday & Friday 6:00am to 1:30pm & Saturday & Sunday 9:30am to 5:30pm
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Preparing & presenting quality food for our residents with a focus on seasonal produce
Maintaining a clean working environment
Follow all food hygiene, safety, and dietary guidelines
Fast, effective service - provided with a positive attitude

Your background:
Previous experience in a similar role
Punctuality & reliability
Exceptional presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail
Adherence to food & general safety practices
NSW Food Safety Certificate (desired)
