The Role:

Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Chef Manager at one of our key sites in Cundletown, NSW, weekdays only, 9:00 am till 17:30 pm.

Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our customers and values a well-run kitchen.

  • Think on your feet: Quickly assess situations and make sound decisions under pressure.

  • Manage a team: Lead, motivate, and support staff to achieve operational and service goals.

  • Resident-focused: Prioritize resident satisfaction and well-being through attentive, compassionate service.

Job Description

What This Role Involves:

  • Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
  • Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking 
  • Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
  • Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
  • Assisting the broader team as required
  • Regular client meetings and dietary updates

 

 

Desired Skills and Experience

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired)
  • Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
