The Role:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Chef Manager at one of our key sites in Cundletown, NSW, weekdays only, 9:00 am till 17:30 pm.
Organising day-to-day operations; this is the ideal role for someone who wants to provide a fantastic meal experience to our customers and values a well-run kitchen.
Think on your feet: Quickly assess situations and make sound decisions under pressure.
Manage a team: Lead, motivate, and support staff to achieve operational and service goals.
Resident-focused: Prioritize resident satisfaction and well-being through attentive, compassionate service.
Job Description
What This Role Involves:
Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
Assisting the broader team as required
Regular client meetings and dietary updates
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired)
Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
Strong communication skills
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
