About The Role
Cater Care is seeking an enthusiastic Weekend Chef to join our aged care site in East Perth. In this hands-on role, you’ll create delicious, thoughtfully prepared meals that bring comfort and connection to our residents. What You’ll Be Doing
Create and present fresh, delicious meals for residents and staff
Support daily kitchen operations and bulk meal preparation
Deliver friendly, efficient service with a smile
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen
Follow food and general safety practices
Prepare and present texture-modified foods with care and precision
Desired Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a similar role (aged care experience preferred but not essential)
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail
A positive attitude and passion for great food
