Cater Care is looking for a Casual Catering Assistant to join our dedicated team at a welcoming aged care residence in beautiful Bangalow. This close-knit facility is home to 59 residents, where you’ll play an important role in creating nutritious meals and a warm dining experience every day.
The location offers on-site parking for your convenience.
Roster: Various days and hours
What This Role Involves
Basic kitchen duties, including sandwich and salad preparation
Plating meals and desserts
Provide excellent customer service to our residents
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Prepare and present texture modified foods
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
