Cater Care is seeking a Part-Time Catering Assistant to join our team at a key aged care residence in Kingscliff.
In this important role, you’ll help ensure our residents enjoy nutritious, well-presented meals and a warm, supportive dining experience every day.
Roster: Wednesday to Sunday | 3:00pm - 8:00pm
What This Role Involves
Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Work effectively as part of a team to meet resident needs and service expectations.
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
A reliable individual who has a genuine interest in working in aged care
