Position: Chef
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Pay: AUD 28.70 – 30.68/hr (depending on experience) plus additional penalty rates for early mornings, nights & weekends
Location: Cairns Airport

What You'll Do
Deliver fast, friendly service & food that hits the mark every single time.
Crush the rush! Prep, cook & plate menu items to standard under pressure.
Manage the back end: monitor stock, rotate supplies & keep accurate records.
Keep it clean & safe by upholding high food-safety standards on every shift.
Be a leader! Coach & support junior team members when the kitchen gets busy.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Proven experience in high-volume kitchens means you don't sweat the rush.
Holding a Cert III in Commercial Cookery is essential for this role.
You have reliable transport & are ready to apply for an ASIC security check.
You are punctual, positive & collaborative—a true team player.
