About The Role:

Cater Care Australia is seeking a Chef Manager for an aged care residence in Wanneroo, WA. This rewarding role lets you combine your passion for great food with purpose, creating high-quality meals that truly make a difference while leading a supportive team in a structured, multi-site environment. Free onsite parking is available.
Salary: $92,000 + Super
Roster: Mon to Fri, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm (40 hrs/week)
What This Role Involves:
Leading, mentoring, and inspiring an on-site culinary team to consistently deliver high-quality meals and exceptional service
Overseeing all food preparation and presentation to ensure nutritious, appealing meals for residents and staff
Managing bulk cooking operations efficiently and with precision
Championing outstanding customer service and fostering a supportive, professional kitchen culture
Ensuring strict compliance with all food hygiene, safety, and quality standards
Overseeing texture-modified and special dietary meals to meet resident needs
Driving ongoing menu reviews and contributing to seasonal menu development
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Proven aged care catering experience, including IDDSI (essential)
Experience in a similar leadership role (aged care preferred but not essential)
Proven track record in managing large, multifaceted catering operations
Strong organisational, communication, and time-management skills
Leads with confidence, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in every detail
