About The Role:

Cater Care’s Aramadale aged care site is seeking a Weekend Chef to prepare delicious, nutritious meals for 114 residents in a modern, well-equipped kitchen. This role is more than cooking - it’s about creating moments of comfort and connection as part of a supportive, close-knit team that values creativity, teamwork, and genuine care.
Pay: $32.30 per hour + applicable penalty rates
Roster: Sat & Sun, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
What You’ll Be Doing:
Create and present fresh, delicious meals for residents and staff
Support daily kitchen operations and bulk meal preparation
Deliver friendly, efficient service with a smile
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen
Follow food and general safety practices
Prepare and present texture-modified foods with care and precision
Desired Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a similar role (aged care experience preferred but not essential)
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail
A positive attitude and passion for great food
