We’re opening a brand-new education site in Peppermint Grove and we’d love you to join our team!
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Cold Larder/Kitchen Hand to help us create a welcoming dining experience for students and staff. This is a casual position, with hours that fit perfectly around school terms - great for parents, locals, or anyone wanting balance in their week.
You’ll enjoy on-site parking plus easy access to public transport - with bus routes nearby making your commute simple and convenient.
Roster:
Morning/afternoon or evening shifts available during school terms.
No late nights, with the potential for additional shifts during special functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation and service
Provide friendly and efficient customer service to students and staff
Re-stock supplies and maintain cleanliness after meal periods
Wash dishes and clean kitchen and dining areas
Uphold strict food hygiene and safety standards
Deliver fast, effective service during busy times with a positive attitude
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
Previous experience in kitchen assistance, food preparation, and/or customer service
Strong teamwork and communication skills
High standards of personal presentation and hygiene
Previous experience in education setting (preferred but not essential)
