Cater Care is looking for a Casual Catering Assistant to join our team at an aged care facility in Toowoomba, QLD. You’ll support meal service and help create an enjoyable, welcoming dining environment where residents feel valued and cared for.
Roster: Various days & hours
What this role involves:
- Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
- Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
- Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
- Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
- Previous contract catering experience (desirable)
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet resident needs and service expectations
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Flexibility, with the ability to adapt to busy and changing environments
