About The Role
Are you a passionate chef looking to make a meaningful difference? Cater Care is hiring a full-time chef for our aged care facility in Pittsworth, QLD.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team, work in a modern kitchen, and use your culinary skills to create delicious, nutritious meals that residents will love.
Roster: Wednesday - Sunday
What You’ll Be Doing
Create and present fresh, delicious meals for residents and staff
Support daily kitchen operations and bulk meal preparation
Deliver friendly, efficient service with a smile
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen
Follow food and general safety practices
Prepare and present texture-modified foods with care and precision
Desired Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a similar role (aged care experience preferred but not essential)
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail
A positive attitude and passion for great food
