Job Description

The Role:

Cater Care seeks to appoint a Chef Manager at one of our key sites in Mosman, weekdays only, 9:00am till 5:30pm.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to start on a full-time temporary contract (3-6 months) with potential to transition into a permanent position.

What This Role Involves:

  • Dual responsibilities in food preparation / presentation and site management
  • Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking 
  • Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
  • Demonstrable team management, development & leadership
  • Assisting the broader team as required
  • Regular client meetings and dietary updates

Desired Skills and Experience

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desired)
  • Previous experience in operating kitchens and/or site management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
