Gather by Cater Care is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Catering Assistant to join our friendly team at the Mount Eliza site.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced kitchen environment, perfect for someone with a positive, can-do attitude and a happy personality. You’ll be involved in meal preparation and service and helping to create a welcoming dining experience every day.
You’ll work alongside a supportive and inclusive team where your contribution is genuinely valued, making each shift varied, engaging, and rewarding.
Pay: $26 per hour + casual loading and penalty rates
Roster: Various days and hours; AM or PM shifts available
What this role involves:
Assisting with food preparation and serving meals and snacks
Providing excellent customer service with a smile
Re-stocking items as needed and after meal periods
Washing dishes and keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and safe
Following all food safety and hygiene standards
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in food preparation and/or customer service
A basic Food Handler’s Certificate
A valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a friendly and positive attitude
