Primary purpose:

The Project Coordinator will be pivotal in supporting the Quality team for a proposed Compliance project. This role will also support the daily running of the Quality team with Quality Assurance tasks including internal auditing. This role may require travelling to remote areas and be subjected to drug and alcohol testing.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Create and manage detailed project documentation to successful conclusions
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones are met and informing stakeholders of changes 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth process implementation and use of applications
  • Support governance, risk and compliance, including reviewing processes, documents, rectifying issues, and assisting with ISO standards certifications (9001, 27001, 45001, 14001, 31000)
  • Document and map business requirements and processes, ensuring alignment with ISO expectations for continuous improvement
  • Support successful solution deployment and facilitate user training as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

Required skills & attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree and understanding of audit principles
  • Familiar with ISO Standards compliance requirements and Framework
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently, remotely, and collaboratively
  • Confident with promoting ideas and solutions to senior stakeholders
  • Proficiency in project management practises and change management 
  • Strong technical skills, a self starter and independent thinker
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
