Cooking with Care for Our Residents

Job Type: Part Time
Location: Alinea Koh-I-Noor, Wembley
Pay: $28.12 per hour + Super + Penalty Rates
Roster: Saturday & Sunday, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Join Cater Care at our Wembley aged care site as a Weekend Chef, where you’ll prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents in a modern kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present fresh, nutritious meals for residents and staff
  • Assist with daily kitchen operations and bulk meal preparation
  • Provide friendly and efficient service
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
  • Follow food safety and workplace safety standards
  • Prepare and present texture-modified meals with care and precision

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a similar role (aged care experience desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and passion for creating great food
