About the role:
Cater Care is seeking Permanent Part time Catering Assistant to join our team at Menangle, NSW. In this role, you’ll assist with meal service and help create a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents.
Pay: Competitive hourly rate
What this role involves:
- Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
- Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
- Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
- Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties
Roster:
Monday to Friday 07:00 to 2:30 and 3:30 to 7:00PM
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet resident needs and service expectations
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Flexibility, with the ability to adapt to busy and changing environments
