Roster: Monday - Sunday | Flexible shifts available
Pay: $25.85 base + casual loading + penalty rates
Cater Care is seeking a friendly and reliable Catering Assistant to join our team at an aged care facility in Willagee.
In this role, you’ll play an important part in enhancing residents’ daily lives by preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals in a warm and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
- Serve meals and snacks with a high standard of customer service
- Re-stock supplies, including after meal periods
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing
- Set tables, plate meals, and support the Chef with general kitchen duties
About You
- Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
- Contract catering experience (desirable)
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
