The Role
Are you a passionate Chef/Cook with a flair for pastries?
Join our friendly team at our beautiful aged care site in Wanneroo, supporting dessert and baking production and creating delicious treats that delight our residents. Make a real difference every day in a supportive, professional kitchen environment!
What You’ll Be Doing
Prepare and present fresh, tasty meals for residents and staff
Support dessert and baking production with your pastry skills
Cater for special diets, including texture-modified (IDDSI) and allergen-friendly meals
Work closely with the weekend team to deliver seamless service
Maintain strict food safety (HACCP) standards and keep the kitchen sparkling
Monitor weekend inventory and ensure smooth handover to the weekday team
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Experience in high-volume kitchens, aged care, or large-scale catering
Current Driver’s Licence
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Passion for creating quality meals and supporting resident well-being
Positive, proactive, and motivated to deliver the best food experience
