The Role
Step into a role where no two days are the same. From assisting with daily meal service to supporting functions and supervising service periods, you’ll play a key part in keeping operations running efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take on responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare dining areas and serve meals to students
Assist with basic food preparation (sandwiches, salads, vegetable prep)
Maintain cleanliness across kitchen, service, and dining areas, including dishwashing
Support and supervise service periods, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
Guide and assist team members, including supporting new staff
Follow all food hygiene, safety, and security procedures
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Skills & Experience
Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or hospitality environment
Ability to supervise or support team members during service
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and flexible
Able to work efficiently under pressure
Knowledge of OH&S and food safety standards
