Take Charge of the Kitchen - No Weekends
Location: Malmsbury VIC Position: Full-Time | Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Start date: July 2026
About The Role
We are seeking expressions of interest for a Chef Manager role at our Malmsbury site.
This is a hands-on leadership role offering genuine work-life balance. You’ll oversee daily kitchen operations, deliver high-quality meals, and ensure a safe, structured environment.
Alongside leading your team and maintaining high standards in a busy kitchen, you’ll also mentor young people in training and work experience programs, supporting their growth in a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
Prepare, present, and deliver fresh meals at scale in a high-volume environment
Maintain strict food safety and compliance standards
Deliver efficient, professional service within a secure and structured environment
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate preferred (or willing to obtain upon commencement)
Experience leading teams in high-volume catering, healthcare, corrections, or similar environments
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work confidently within a regulated setting
Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
