About the role:
Cater Care is seeking Casual Catering Assistant to join our team at Booragul, NSW. In this role, you’ll assist with meal service and help create a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents.
What this role involves:
- Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
- Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
- Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
- Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
- Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties
Roster:
Weekend position, Saturday and Sunday Mornings 06.30-14.00
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet resident needs and service expectations
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Flexibility, with the ability to adapt to busy and changing environments
