As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly capable and motivated Site Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of campus facilities and services. This role is critical in ensuring the college environment is safe, efficient, and supportive of academic excellence. You will lead operational teams, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement across site functions.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily site operations including facilities management, maintenance, security, and support services
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and performance standards
Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective service delivery
Lead and supervise operational staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to support college activities and events
Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement
Manage emergency response and business continuity planning
Roster:
Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm with swing patterns for need of business.
Working in conjunction with the onsite teams, You will see yourself take on full responsibility for the site and its activities. Financial acumen is a must. You will take on the ownership if the 3 sites as if they are your own. you will take full accountability for the safety, financial and overall performance of the sites.
You will work with a variety of teams and fill in where you need to be.
Desired Skills and Experience
Your background:
Proven experience in a leadership role within the contract catering or hospitality industry with multi-site exposure.
Strong understanding of operational and financial management.
Proven track record of managing catering operations and leading diverse teams
Experience operating across multi-site delivery
Exceptional communication ability and outstanding relationship management skills
Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices, particularly within education.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
