Location: Wembley WA
Pay: $29.88 + super + penalties
Roster: Part-time | Sat & Sun (15 hours per week)

About The Role

Cater Care is seeking a dedicated Chef to join our kitchen team at an aged care facility in Wembley. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals and contributing to a positive dining experience for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals for residents and staff
  • Support daily kitchen operations and bulk meal preparation
  • Assemble salads, sandwiches, and cold dishes with consistency and care
  • Prepare texture-modified foods as required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen
  • Follow strict food safety and hygiene standards

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a similar role (aged care experience desirable, not essential)
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and passion for quality food
  • Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
