Location: Walkerville, SA Pay: $29.88 base rate + super + penalty rates Roster: Part-time | Approx. 24 hours per week
About The Role
Cater Care is seeking motivated Chef / Cold Larder team members to join our kitchen team at a newly established site in Walkerville.
This is a hands-on role in a modern, fast-paced kitchen environment, focused on delivering high-quality cold dishes as part of daily meal service. As the site continues to grow, there is opportunity for increased hours and long-term development within the team.
You will be responsible for preparing salads, sandwiches, snacks, and other cold larder items while supporting efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality cold dishes, salads, sandwiches, and snacks
Support kitchen operations and assist with meal service
Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and equipment
Monitor and maintain stock levels, replenishing items as required
Adhere to strict food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
Contribute to a positive, professional team environment
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Skills and Experience
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Experience in food preparation, ideally in cold larder or similar chef roles
Confident supporting kitchen operations during service periods
Strong understanding of food safety and WHS requirements
Reliable, flexible, and team-focused
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
