Desired Skills and Experience
What You’ll Do
Take full ownership of the kitchen to prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals for weekend residents
Operate independently to manage all aspects of food production from prep to plating
Deliver friendly and professional customer service to students, staff, and college visitors
Maintain high hygiene standards by overseeing dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and tray service duties
Ensure all meals are prepared safely and efficiently according to established dietary guidelines
About You
Must be a qualified professional holding a Trade Certification in Commercial Cookery
Hold a current Food Safety Supervisor certificate and a valid NSW Working With Children Check
Proven ability to work autonomously and handle the responsibilities of a solo kitchen shift
Willingness to be hands-on with all tasks including food preparation, dishwashing, and cleaning
Ability to pass a National Police Check and provide evidence of your right to work in Australia
