Location: Alphington, Victoria Salary: $85k + Super Job Type: Full-Time | Monday to Friday Start Date: July 2026
About The Role
We are seeking Expressions of Interest for a Chef Manager to lead kitchen operations at our Alphington site.
This is a hands-on leadership role offering genuine work-life balance, where you will oversee daily kitchen operations, guide a small team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals in a structured, high-volume environment.
You will play a key role in maintaining consistency, driving standards, and supporting a positive team culture.

Desired Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes
Oversee preparation and presentation of meals at scale
Manage special dietary requirements and meal modifications
Oversee daily kitchen operations: food preparation, service, dishwashing, and cleaning
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards
Ensure efficient and professional service delivery in a structured environment
Key Skills and Experience
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Proven experience in high-volume catering environments in a similar Chef or Chef Manager role
Strong leadership experience managing kitchen teams in healthcare, aged care, or similar structured environments
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (preferred or willing to obtain upon commencement)
Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and maintain consistency under pressure
