About The Role

Salary: $80K base + $4K travel allowance
Roster: Monday to Friday | 8-hour shifts (typically 9:00am - 5:30pm)
Location: Perth Metro Area

Cater Care is seeking an experienced and adaptable Relief Chef Manager to support culinary operations across multiple sites within the Perth metro area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead kitchen operations across various sites
  • Prepare and present high-quality meals, including texture-modified foods
  • Manage food, labour, and operational costs effectively
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Lead, mentor, and support kitchen teams
  • Assist with bulk catering and daily food production
  • Maintain strong service standards and efficient kitchen workflows

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Trade Qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
  • Proven experience in kitchen operations and/or site management, including managing labour and food costs
  • Must have several years of experience in aged care culinary operations, with strong knowledge of texture-modified foods
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills with a hands-on approach
  • High standards of presentation, hygiene, and food safety practices
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle
