Gather by Cater Care is looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join our team at Ballarat and Queen’s Anglican Grammar School.
Be part of a dedicated kitchen team preparing fresh, nutritious meals for students at a prestigious boarding school. This hands-on role includes preparing and presenting high-quality meals for events, functions, and formal dinners, with a strong focus on both presentation and flavour.
We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and brings strong organisation, reliability, and a positive attitude to every shift.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals for students and staff
Support high-volume and bulk meal production
Deliver professional and friendly customer service
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
Adhere to food safety and workplace health and safety standards
Provide efficient service with a positive, proactive approach
Desired Skills and Experience
Your Background
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Experience in a similar role (education sector experience desirable)
Bulk cooking experience advantageous
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Strong presentation, communication, time management, and attention to detail skills
