Cater Care is seeking a qualified Chef to join our team at Lutheran Homes in Horsham.

About The Role
As Chef, you will prepare fresh, nutritious meals that enhance residents' wellbeing and dining experience. Working within an established kitchen team, you will ensure meals are prepared safely, efficiently and to a high standard while contributing to a welcoming dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals for residents and staff
Assist with daily kitchen operations and bulk meal production
Prepare texture-modified meals with care and attention to individual dietary requirements
Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and workplace health compliance
Contribute to a positive dining experience through professional and friendly service
Support a safe, organised and efficient kitchen environment
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Trade Qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
Excellent time management and organisational skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude and genuine passion for preparing quality food
Aged care experience is desirable, but not essential
