Cook with Purpose in Beautiful Byron Bay 

Location: Byron Bay, NSW
Roster: Saturday, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday | 10:30am - 6:30pm

Cater Care is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at a valued aged care residence in Byron Bay. This is an opportunity to apply your culinary skills in a rewarding environment, preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that positively impact the daily lives of residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality meals for residents
  • Support bulk cooking and food production requirements
  • Prepare texture-modified meals in line with individual dietary needs
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and company procedures
  • Deliver exceptional service to residents and stakeholders

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a similar Chef role
  • Aged care catering experience highly desirable
  • Strong communication, organisational and time management skills
  • Commitment to quality, food safety and customer service

Important Information 

All applicants must have a current year flu vaccination and undertake a National Criminal History Check.
