Cater Care is looking for a practical, commercially minded People Partner to support our growing Education and Aged Care operations.
This role partners closely with Operations Managers, Site Leaders and senior stakeholders to provide hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle — from workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding through to performance, employee relations, engagement and leader coaching.
You will be part of our newly formed People Team, working alongside People Services, Recruitment and Learning to deliver simple, consistent and practical people solutions across the business.
Job Description
About the role:
As People Partner, you will
Partner with operational leaders across Education and Aged Care
Provide practical advice on employee relations, performance and workforce matters
Support recruitment, onboarding and first 90-day employee experience
Coach managers to build confidence in people leadership
Identify workforce trends and partner with People Services on solutions
Support change, engagement, retention and capability initiatives
Help improve consistency in how people processes are applied across sites
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
You are a confident HR generalist who enjoys working close to operations. You are practical, solutions-focused and comfortable supporting managers who are leading busy, frontline teams.
You will bring
Experience in a HR Advisor, HR Generalist role
Strong understanding of employee relations and performance management
Ability to coach and influence operational leaders
Confidence working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A practical, calm and commercially balanced approach
Experience in aged care, education, hospitality, facilities, catering or similar frontline environments will be highly regarded
