Pay Rate: $27.08/hr + casual loading + penalties
Roster: 

  • Dinner shifts Monday to Sunday + weekend mornings
  • Monday and Wednesday evening availability essential

Cater Care is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team at St Mark’s College, supporting a busy university residential dining hall.

Working alongside the Chef Manager, you’ll assist with kitchen operations and front-of-house service to deliver a welcoming dining experience for students, staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly front-of-house service, including waited meal service when required
  • Plate and serve meals to students, staff and guests
  • Support kitchen operations, functions and conference catering
  • Maintain clean and safe kitchen and dining areas
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

  • Experience in high-volume kitchen operations and food service
  • Front-of-house supervisory experience is essential
  • Strong organisation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, reliable and professional approach
  • Sound knowledge of food safety and OH&S practices

Successful applicants must complete a Working With Children Check prior to commencement.
