Cater Care is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at one of Western Australia's prestigious schools. You'll oversee a dedicated team delivering fresh, nutritious meals to boarding house students while supporting a variety of school functions throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of chefs, kitchen hands, and catering assistants
Create exciting menus for daily meals, events, and special functions
Cook and deliver fresh, delicious meals that fuel students and staff
Manage stock, ordering, and food cost control
Oversee service during the dinner shift, working alongside another chef to ensure everything runs smoothly until the end of service
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) and a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Experience in a similar leadership role within a fast-paced commercial kitchen
Previous experience in education catering (essential), with bulk catering and function experience
Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team
Strong organisational, communication and customer service skills with a collaborative approach
