We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our operations adhere to all relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies, with a strong focus on food safety. This role requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement. FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) experience with similar compliance responsibilities and qualifications is essential.

Job Description

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Safety Compliance:
    • Maintain food safety management plan
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to food safety regulations and company standards.
    • Provide training to staff in accordance with the food safety plan. 
  • Onboarding New Staff:
    • Integrate compliance training into the new staff onboarding at site
    • Ensure all new employees understand and adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Certificate & Licence Compliance:
    • Monitor and track all necessary company and individual staff certificates and licences.
    • Ensure timely renewal of all licences and certifications to maintain operational compliance
  • Identifying Continual Improvement:
    • Proactively identify areas for improvement that assists in achieving efficiencies

  • Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or relevant background.
  • Relevant qualifications in food safety or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
