  • Various shift times working either 10,11 or 11.5 hours
  • Remuneration range - $80,000 - $90,000 plus superannuation

Cater Care Services are seeking dedicated housekeepers to join our remote villages across Western Australia. You will work 14 days on and have 7 days off (with meals, uniforms and accommodation included), giving you a real opportunity to save and improve your work/life balance.

 

What does a day in the life of a FIFO Housekeeper look like?

  • Cleaning of single ensuite dongas
  • Changing linen and making beds
  • Dusting and wiping of bedroom surfaces
  • Vacuuming and mopping
  • Emptying rubbish bins
  • Driving buggy
  • Safe handling of chemicals
  • Repetitive, physical tasks, including heavy lifting and bending
  • Assists the on-site broader team as required
  • Demonstrate a strong safety culture

Desired Skills and Experience

To get a start you’ll need:

  • The ability to work well independently, as well as with other team members
  • A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
  • A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, sometimes for long periods.
  • Pride in personal appearance & hygiene

 

Requirements: 

  • Current Australian driver's license 
  • 6-12 months housekeeping experience
  • Police clearance (within 6 months)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
  • RSA (desirable)
  • Hospitality experience (desirable)
