Looking for a secure chef role that offers a reliable lifestyle roster and zero living expenses while on shift? Cater Care is seeking an experienced, passionate Chef to join our remote site operations. Operating on a 14/7 roster (FIFO ex-Brisbane or DIDO), you will deliver high-volume, high-quality meal services to keep our site residents well-fed and energised.
Roster Details:
14 Days On, 7 Days Off roster
12-hour shifts (covering day, night, and split rosters as required)
FIFO flights provided ex-Brisbane or Drive-In, Drive-Out (DIDO)
What This Role Involves:
Prepare and cook high-volume breakfast, dinner, and crib takeaway meals for village residents
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, HACCP guidelines, and site hygiene standards
Manage food stock levels, coolroom rotations, and minimize kitchen waste
Cater for a wide variety of special dietary requirements, allergies, and menu preferences
Work collaboratively with kitchen utilities and dining room staff to maintain a smooth kitchen workflow

Desired Skills and Experience

Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or TRA-recognised trade qualification)
Proven experience in high-volume catering, remote site operations, or large-scale buffet service
Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, and dietary management
Current Manual Driver's Licence
