Location: PLC Perth, Peppermint Grove
Pay Rate: $25.85 per hour + casual loading
Roster: Various shifts across the week (school terms only)
The Role
Join Gather by Cater Care as a Catering Assistant in a fast-paced school canteen at a prestigious girls’ school in Peppermint Grove. This is a hands-on hospitality role supporting chefs in delivering fresh, high-quality meals to boarding students during the school term.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, service, and buffet setup/pack down
- Deliver friendly, efficient customer service to students and staff
- Operate point-of-sale systems, handle transactions, and stock supplies
- Maintain clean, well-presented kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing
- Uphold strict food hygiene and safety standards at all times
About You
- Previous catering or hospitality experience
- Friendly and confident engaging with customers
- Reliable, approachable, and team-oriented
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Flexibility, with the ability to adapt to busy and changing environments
